Me Time – Ali Edwards

Hybrid scrapbooking, now there’s something I never thought I would incorporate in my crafting. I love working with physical products, but after playing with hybrid products I have realized that hybrid scrapbooking is actually pretty fun and also very convenient. For instance, this layout I created for Ali Edwards using digital elements from the May Digital Kit. The “me time” brush was originally black I opted to change the color to white, I wanted a very subtle title effect paired with the gold rub on stars, white was perfect! This layout is 6×8, love working with this smaller format, love that it can be paired with a 6×8 pocket pages or left on its own. (And yes I’m totally aware there’s a word missing on my layout, as most of my journaling I always forget a word, I’m ok with that, good enough is fine by me.)

I've been part of the scrapbook industry for over 10 years. My love of paper started at a very young age when I started hoarding a collection of notepads and fruit scented pens. My love of scrapbooking and memory keeping evolved when I became a mother. Over the course of my creative career, I've had the pleasure of designing for various manufactures; I currently design for Ali Edwards and Gossamer Blue. My style is eclectic with a flair for mixing embellishments, creating layers and a love for white space. As of two years ago, I shifted her creative focus to documenting our family’s daily activities with Project Life.
