Halloween Mini – Ali Edwards

I was so excited to see Ali’s October digital kit, I  knew I wanted to create a special mini album which features my daughter’s and their Halloween costumes throughout the years.

Using a 4×4 album I had on hand I printed my favorite pictures from last year and paired them with the digital elements from the October kit, such as a digital brush on my cover page. I also used items from past Story Kits. Love the versatility of the kits and how I can use them on all my projects, from PL spreads to mini albums and layouts.

I also incorporated items from Ali’s shop, such as the die cuts packs and the sticker variety pack. When I create mini albums I love to add tags and interactive elements, they always add a lot of character to a project.

I resized a journaling card to fit the 4×4 format, I used my electric typewriter to do the journaling. These pages are simple as the focus is on the journaling and I didn’t want to add any elements to distract from this.

Again I added some fun elements to add extra details to my album. Love using these bits and pieces to my projects. My closing page features a banner from the digital kit, along with items from past kit.

Love how this mini album has progressed, I’m excited to go back to past years and add more pictures of my daughters throughout the years.

I've been part of the scrapbook industry for over 10 years. My love of paper started at a very young age when I started hoarding a collection of notepads and fruit scented pens. My love of scrapbooking and memory keeping evolved when I became a mother. Over the course of my creative career, I've had the pleasure of designing for various manufactures; I currently design for Ali Edwards and Gossamer Blue. My style is eclectic with a flair for mixing embellishments, creating layers and a love for white space. As of two years ago, I shifted her creative focus to documenting our family’s daily activities with Project Life.
