Black and White kit with FYC

Today, FYC released another amazing kit, this time the color was the main feature of this kit, it’s black and white only!!! So awesome!! You can see the kit on the FYC website here, don’t wait to long to get yours, the FYC kits usually sell out rather quickly!

I know that I will be reaching for this kit over and over again, but my first project had to be of my middle daughter’s Halloween costume. It was so bright and bold, the black and white combo was the perfect solution!

I added a splash of color with my journaling and some puffy stars from FYC. I love working with black and white accents, the die cuts in this kit were amazing. I paired some on the large 6×8 picture to create clusters that bring more details to the white space of the picture. I also used the new alpha stamp set- Marker, to add a bit of stamping to the picture. Love the size of the font, not only is it the perfect size for a PL spread, it will also be perfect in my TNs.

I can’t wait to get started on another project, this kit has a permanent stop on my work desk, it is now my go to kit to use on my projects!

I've been part of the scrapbook industry for over 10 years. My love of paper started at a very young age when I started hoarding a collection of notepads and fruit scented pens. My love of scrapbooking and memory keeping evolved when I became a mother. Over the course of my creative career, I've had the pleasure of designing for various manufactures; I currently design for Ali Edwards and Gossamer Blue. My style is eclectic with a flair for mixing embellishments, creating layers and a love for white space. As of two years ago, I shifted her creative focus to documenting our family’s daily activities with Project Life.
